  • What are anti-wrinkle injections?
    Anti-wrinkle injections are on the frontline of anti-ageing treatments. When injected in small doses into targeted areas, anti-wrinkle injections block the signals between the nerves and the muscles, causing the muscles to relax. They reduce the appearance of lines to produce a look that is fresh, more youthful and, most importantly, natural.
  • How long do they last?
     On average, anti-wrinkle injections last for 3-4 months. In a percentage of cases, patients may find their anti-wrinkle injections lasting a shorter time with repeated treatments or even failing to work. In these cases, it is possible that neutralising antibodies have been produced by the body’s immune system. It can take up to 14 days before you see any results.
  • What are fat dissolving injections?
    Fat Dissolving Injections is a treatment that helps to dissolve stubborn fat deposits simply and non-surgically. Many people suffer from stubborn areas of fat which are resistant to regular exercise. Sometimes even a strict dietary and exercise regime fails to reduce these stubborn areas of fat deposits.
  • How many sessions do I need?
    This treatment would require several sessions for the best results to take place. In this case, compared to surgical lipolysis, fat dissolving injections cost much less and may even only require two sessions depending on the amount of fat being eliminated. You shouldn’t receive fat dissolving injections if: you’re breastfeeding you have an inability to produce fat (lipodystrophy) you’re pregnant you have skin diseases or infections you have any conditions that affect fat processing in your body
  • What are dermal fillers?
     Injectable dermal fillers can plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases, remove wrinkles and improve the appearance of scars. Fillers are not permanent. How long they last depends on things like the type of filler and where it's injected. They usually last between 6 and 18 months. Risks; Serious problems are rare but can include: infection a lumpy appearance under the skin, which might need to be treated with surgery or medicine the filler moving away from the intended treatment area, which may need to be removed using surgery scarring blocked blood vessels in the face, which can cause tissue death and permanent blindness
  • Afterwards;
     The affected area may be a bit red, sore and swollen. Any swelling or bruising should settle down in a few days. You will be advised about what to do to help reduce the risk of side effects on your appointment & be provided with an aftercare sheet. This includes not wearing make-up immediately after the procedure and avoiding alcohol, coffee and the sun.
